Fabian Scheller

Fabian Scheller is a researcher at the Institute for Infrastructure and Resources Management at the University of Leipzig. His research focus is on techno- and socio-economic modeling of energy systems. Major aim is to identify synergy and competition effects of decentralized business models at differing municipal energy system conditions.

Prior to joining the research group, he received a bachelor's and master’s degree in Information Engineering and Management at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. Fabian also completed a master’s degree with distinction in the field of Renewable and Sustainable Energy Technologies at Northumbria University in Newcastle upon Tyne. Additional to that, he gained professional experience in project management and business development as an intern at a strategy consulting firm, at an engineering company and at a start-up.
